Military Leaders Oppose Hagel Nomination

America’s most distinguished and highly decorated retired Generals and Admirals announced their opposition to Chuck Hagel’s nomination to the post of Secretary of Defense today.  In a letter addressed to the Chairman and Ranking Member of the Senate Armed Services Committee former Assistant Secretary of Defense Frank Gaffney announced that 14 former flag officers had assembled to oppose President Obama’s nominee for Secretary of Defense.
